A former Little Rock radio station reporter is a suspect in police vehicle burnings

Little Rock, Arkansas – One of the four people arrested earlier this month was a former Little Rock radio station reporter. The four people are being suspects for vandalizing and burning police vehicles in central Arkansas.

On August 28, Arkansas State Police vehicle was burned in front of the agency headquarters in Little Rock. A few more vehicles had punctured tires and another vehicle was vandalized with spray paint. Even exploded molotov cocktail was found on the scene.

According to witnesses, the 22-years-old Renea Goddard was one of the three people responsible for this act. The police was tracking their phone locations back to the Arkansas State Police headquarters that night. Total of four people were arrested and proper charges will be taken.

According to court records, Renea Goddard was also arrested in June for violating curfew during Black Lives Matter protests in downtown Little Rock.

As a student, she was writing for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s student newspaper. According to her Linkedin profile, she has also been working at KUAR as a reporter.

“At the time of the incident, the individual had not been affiliated with the radio station for over six months,” a spokesperson said.
