A new fire station wants to save locals money
Harrisburg, Arkansas – You will be better protected and might even end up with a few extra cash in your pocket thanks to a new fire station in Poinsett County.
Right off Highway 1, work has started on the new Harrisburg Fire Station.
The brand-new cutting-edge building will increase their workforce and, ideally, bring down their Insurance Services Office Rating.
“Once we get done with this stuff, our ISO rating may potentially go down which will lower issuance premiums for the city of Harrisburg and surrounding areas,” said Mayor Justin Kimble.
According to Kimble, the facility is being built with the intention of converting to a full-time department and incorporating additional housing space.
He stated that the building’s outside construction is anticipated to be finished by the coming winter.
