Jefferson County, Arkansas – Early on Saturday morning, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office discovered what appear to be human remains by a highway; they are currently conducting an investigation.

A deputy was reportedly dispatched to the 1900 block of Highway 425 at approximately 8:30 a.m. on reports of potential human remains discovered nearby.

Upon reaching the location, the deputy made contact with the investigator from the JCSO Criminal Investigation Division. To find out what might have happened, a number of detectives have been scouring the region.
