Bowling Green loses to the Red Wolves in the LendingTree Bowl matchup
Arkansas – Bowling Green was defeated by the Arkansas State Red Wolves in the LendingTree Bowl. The Red Wolves won the game by a score of 38-31 over the football team.
During the first quarter of the game, the Red Wolves scored 17 points while only allowing 7 points to be scored against them. This allowed them to get off to a strong start in the game.
Bowling Green scored 14 points in the second quarter, compared to Arkansas State’s seven points; after that, the score was 24-21 between the two teams going into halftime. The game became more competitive as the halftime break approached.
The Red Wolves were able to put the Falcons out of their misery and win the LendingTree Bowl by a final score of 38-31. This victory was accomplished by scoring a touchdown in both the third and fourth quarters of the game of the game.
Jaylen Raynor, the quarterback for the Red Wolves, passed for 221 yards and two touchdowns, which led to the team’s success.
The victory brings Arkansas State’s overall season record to 8-5, which is the final standings.
