Caddo Hills’ Connor Kincannon voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week
Congratulations to Caddo Hills senior Connor Kincannon for being voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for March 15-21!
The senior guard led all scorers with 26 points and had six rebounds in a 55-62 double-overtime loss to Marina-Lee in Friday’s Class 2A state championship game.
Kincannon received 58.69% of the vote, beating out Mayflower’s B.J. Gilliam, who finished second with 39.62% of the vote. West Side’s Travis Gentry finished third with 0.43% of the vote and Little Rock Central’s finished fourth with 0.4% of the vote. There were over 15,000 votes tallied this week!

Henry Cowles, Morrilton: The junior center scored 13 points and blocked three shots in a 49-46 Class 4A state championship game loss to Mills on Saturday afternoon.
Josh Denton, Maumelle: The senior had 12 points and three assists in a 58-56 loss to Jonesboro in the Class 5A state championship game Saturday night.
Ty Dugger, Harding Academy: The senior football standout recorded 11 points and six rebounds in the Wildcats’ 42-38 win against Mayflower in the Class 3A state championship game Friday night.
B.J. Gilliam, Mayflower: The junior guard scored 14 points in a 42-38 loss to Harding Academy in the Class 3A state championship game Friday night.
Travis Gentry, West Side: The junior guard had 15 points in a 62-47 loss to Viola in the Class 1A state championship game Thursday evening.
Javion Guy-King, Mills: The 6-6 junior forward had 19 points and nine rebounds in a 49-46 win against Morrilton in the Class 4A state final Saturday afternoon.
Hudson Likens, Little Rock Central: The senior guard led the Tigers with 13 points and had six rebounds in a 65-55 Class 6A state championship game loss to North Little Rock on Thursday afternoon.
Jakari Livingston, Mills: The senior forward earned Class 5A final game MVP honors with 17 points and three rebounds in a 49-46 win against Morrilton on Saturday afternoon.
Bryson Luna, Viola: The senior guard scored 16 points in the Longhorns’ 62-47 Class 1A state championship game win against West Side on Thursday.
Mason Luna, Viola: The senior guard scored 21 points on his way to MVP honors in the Longhorns’ 62-47 win against West Side in Thursday’s Class 1A state championship game.
Keyln McBride, Jonesboro: The senior guard earned the MVP award in the Class 5A state championship game Saturday night by scoring eight points and dishing out two assists. McBride made a key three-pointer in the fourth quarter to help preserve the win, 58-56, against Maumelle.
Carter Neal, Harding Academy: The senior guard earned Class 3A state championship game MVP honors by totaling 12 points and eight rebounds in a 42-38 win against Mayflower on Friday night.
Brandon Patterson, Mayflower: The senior post scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 42-38 loss to Harding Academy in the Class 3A state championship game Friday night.
Joseph Pinion, Morrilton: The junior forward and University of Arkansas commit had 16 points and six rebounds in the Devil Dogs’ 49-46 loss to Mills in the Class 4A state championship game Saturday afternoon.
Caden Sipe, Harding Academy: The senior guard, who is a Henderson State University football commit, chipped in 11 points and six rebounds in the Wildcats’ 42-38 win against Mayflower in the Class 3A state title game Friday night.
DJ Smith, North Little Rock: The Charging Wildcats’ senior combo guard poured in 26 points and grabbed four rebounds on his way to MVP honors in Thursday’s 65-55 Class 6A title game win against Little Rock Central.
Riley Wade, Maumelle: The junior point guard had 12 points in a 58-56 loss to Jonesboro on Saturday night in the Class 5A state championship game.
Kel’el Ware, North Little Rock: The junior center had 19 points and eight rebounds in a 65-55 win against conference rival Little Rock Central in the Class 6A state championship game Thursday afternoon.
Bryson Warren, Little Rock Central: The sophomore guard had 10 points in the Tigers’ 65-55 loss to North Little Rock in the Class 6A state championship game Thursday afternoon.
Jesse Washington, Jonesboro: The junior guard had a game-high 16 points in Jonesboro’s 58-56 win against Maumelle in the Class 5A state championship game Saturday night.
Je’Marion Westbrook, Marianna-Lee: The junior forward had 17 points (including going 5 for 5 from the line) in the Trojans’ 62-55 double-overtime win over Caddo Hills in the Class 2A final Friday afternoon.
Terran Williams, Marianna-Lee: The senior forward, a Louisiana Tech signee, had 17 points and nine rebounds on his way to MVP honors in the Trojans’ 62-55 double-overtime win against Caddo Hills in the Class 2A state championship game Friday afternoon.
