The U.S. judge said the decision came because they felt that Stager might be a danger to the community.

Conway man accused of beating police officer in U.S Capitol riots
Conway, Arkansas – A man from Conway that beat a police officer in the U.S. Capitol riots according to FBI agents, will be held without a bond.
Peter Stager is convicted of beating a police officer in the U.S. Capitol riots.
U.S. Attorneys showed Stager’s footage carrying a flag pole. They say he beat the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer when the officer was face down on the Capitol’s stairs.
They have unveiled a viral video that attorneys claim shows Stager calling for the murder of capitol police officers.
The Stager’s defense argued the video may have been edited.
“We represented him zealously, and we’ve done everything we can for what we have now. The judge made his decision after a good consideration, and we appreciate and accept the decision of the court,” said Frank Shaw, Peter Stager’s attorney.
