Daily Covid-19 report for Arkansas: almost 100 new cases as hospitalizations grow
Conway, Arkansas – Arkansas added 90 news confirmed Covid-19 cases in today’s report by Arkansas Department of Health.
According to the report, two more deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed positive cases is now 345,695, while the total number of reported deaths is 5,876.
Currently, there are 281 people hospitalized which is increase from yesterday’s report by 20.
Arkansas is still seeing one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country.
This is what Gov. Asa Hutchinson said on Twitter:
We continue to see increasing hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in Arkansas. Vaccine doses are available throughout the state, and they continue to be effective at slowing the spread of this virus and preventing hospitalizations.
