During the Labor Day weekend, Jacksonville holds the annual FestiVille event

Jacksonville, Arkansas – This weekend, FestiVille is carrying on the tradition of celebrating Labor Day weekend.
Because of the festivities, a significant portion of Main Street in the downtown area of Jacksonville was closed down.
The children could visit a petting zoo, there were live bands, there were dozens of vendors, and there were food trucks.
At the event, families expressed their belief that it is essential to hold community events such as this one.
“To bring families together so that they can spend more time together because that is pretty much the entire reason why we are here on this planet,” she said. One person who attended the festival expressed their desire to “not work and pay bills.”
Throughout the course of the year, FestiVille is organized by the Jacksonville Parks & Recreation Department in collaboration with other community organizations.
