‘Film Alley’ theater to open in Breckenridge in place of former Regal location
Little Rock, Arkansas – Film Alley, the state capital of the Natural States, is getting a new movie theater.
The theater will be located at the former Regal Cinema, which closed in March 2023 after an EF-3 tornado struck Little Rock, in Breckenridge Village in Little Rock.
There’s more to Film Alley than just theater screenings. Eight bowling lanes, a bar, eight dine-in movie auditoriums, a full redemption arcade, and a premier theater with 4K laser projection and DTS-X Immersive Sound are all planned for the property.
Schulman Theaters is the owner of the Film Alley network. The company was founded in Texas in 1926.
There are presently seven active locations for the franchise in Texas, adding up to a total of 52 screens.
Film Alley in Little Rock is scheduled to reopen in early 2025 after undergoing repairs.
One of the project’s partners, Jake Keet, claims that Breckenridge Village will continue to rejuvenate the area after the tornado outbreak.
“The addition of Schulman Theatres ‘Film Alley’ is an exciting development that will make Breckenridge Village even more unique with a number of entertainment and dining options,” Keet said. “Exciting progress is being made every day on the revitalization of Breckenridge Village.”
