Following an interstate shooting that left one kid dead and two injured, Arkansas State Police are looking into the incident

North Little Rock, Arkansas – An investigation is being conducted by the Arkansas State Police following a shooting that occurred early in the morning along the highway in North Little Rock, which resulted in the death of one juvenile and the injury of two others.

The records indicate that at approximately 3:45 in the morning on December 28, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where a man had taken three adolescents who had been shot.

There are reports that the teenagers were shot when they were riding in a vehicle on Interstate 40 in the direction of westbound traffic at the Protho Junction.

A further 17-year-old and an 18-year-old passenger were also shot, and one of the passengers, who was 17 years old and had been shot numerous times, passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained. Since then, one of them has been discharged from the hospital, while the other is still there in an undetermined state.

There has been no information made public identifying any prospective suspect or suspects in connection with this occurrence whatsoever.

The victim who has passed away will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in order to ascertain the precise reason for their passing.
