Former publisher of National Enquirer reveals 2018 hush money discussions with Governor Sanders

Little Rock, Arkansas – During Governor Sanders’ tenure as White House Press Secretary in 2018, the former National Enquirer publisher testified in court today that he had negotiated the parameters of a hush money payment with her.
When asked about his attempts to suppress a report regarding an alleged affair between former President Donald Trump and model Karen McDougal, David Pecker provided that information.
Pecker described a conversation he had with the now-governor and Hope Hicks, Trump’s director of communications. They talked about whether to keep the agreement Pecker had with McDougal in place, which forbade her from telling her tale.
Both of the presidential aides, he claimed, “thought that it was a good idea.”
We have requested a comment from the office of Governor Sanders, but we have not received a response.
