Garver urging businesses to talk about workplace preventive care
Little Rock, Arkansas – This month, Garver is raising awareness about workplace wellness and the ways in which businesses can support their employees’ preventative care.
The manager of Garver’s wellness program, Whitney Gorsegner, spoke with Arkansas Today on the value of workplace health.
According to Gorsegner, it’s beneficial to have conversations about mental health and preventative treatment in the workplace in addition to establishing a safe space. A number of screenings and yearly physicals or wellness exams are part of preventative care.
