Gas prices on the rise
Jonesboro, Arkansas – There may be an increase in petrol costs for drivers in the Natural State.
The average price of petrol in Arkansas increased by 9.9 cents per gallon over the previous week, to $2.75, according to GasBuddy’s study.
According to the poll, prices have decreased by 35.7 cents per gallon from a year ago, but are still 14.6 cents per gallon higher than those reported a month ago.
According to GasBuddy, on Sunday, February 4, the lowest-priced gas in Arkansas was $2.49 per gallon, while the highest-priced gas was $4.00.
According to Patrick De Haan, Head of Petroleum Analysis at GasBuddy, drivers could anticipate further price increases in the upcoming weeks.
“While most states saw price increases, they were somewhat time, though the trend will likely begin to accelerate towards the end of the month,” De Haan said.
According to the national gas price survey, gas prices are lower than they were a year ago, at 32.5 cents a gallon.
