In honor of the mother and children killed in a car accident, the Little Rock Boys and Girls Club releases balloons

Little Rock, Arkansas – To memorialize a mother and her two children who passed away earlier this month, a large group of friends and family members gathered at a Little Rock Boys and Girls Club on Thursday for a balloon release.
According to Arkansas State Police, Tyeasha Deshun Green, 44, and her children, Nel’Taiyah Green and Corey “CJ” Clemons, according to family, passed away on February 1.
Green was traveling on Interstate 40 in Franklin County at around two in the morning when she struck a bridge wall, which caused the vehicle to crash into a creek bed, according to an ASP report.
After attending their wake, their cousin Natalie Green stated she felt obligated to attend this balloon release, given their funeral is scheduled for this weekend.
“It felt unreal,” Green remarked. “Until today, at the wake, which was the final closure, I didn’t believe it.”
The second grader traveled to the Thrasher Boys and Girls Club, where the balloon drop took place. The balloons were purple because, according to club employee Natalie Farmer-Duckery, “it was Nel’Taiyah’s favorite color.”
“She was our special student, and she will always be remembered here,” said Farmer-Duckery. “Their mom was an excellent parent.”
CJ attended Morrilton High School, which hosted a balloon release using his favorite color and basketball number only last week. The family’s middle kid, brother Dontoirriane “Jamar” Anderson, told us he was depending on their other two older brothers.
“I’m simply going to express my gratitude that they were present and that everyone loves them as much as I do. That’s what matters most,” Anderson remarked.
According to Shaunna Miller, a family cousin, she will miss their grins.
Miller remarked, “The entire community just lost a beautiful soul.”
According to Green, the family appreciates the overwhelming support.
“The love that is needed at this time is overwhelming and greatly appreciated,” she stated.
