Incumbent Republican Arkansas congressmen go 4-0 in reelection bids
Arkansas – Following an election-day campaign that was largely low-key in the traditionally red state of Arkansas’ four congressional contests, Republicans maintained control of those seats on Tuesday.
When district boundaries were redrawn after the 2020 census, the state’s GOP-controlled legislature made it simpler to keep the congressional delegation entirely Republican. The state’s most populous county, Pulaski County, which leans heavily Democratic and is home to Little Rock, was split into three different congressional districts, which sparked a lawsuit alleging that the new boundaries weaken the influence of Black voters.

The plaintiffs were given 30 days to submit a fresh case with their remaining claims that the map violates the U.S. Constitution and the federal Voting Rights Act after a panel of three federal judges partially dismissed their lawsuit in October.
Rep. French Hill, the incumbent, defeated Democrats Quintessa Hathaway and Michael White to win reelection in the 2nd Congressional District, which contained Little Rock in its entirety prior to the redistricting.
Rep. Steve Womack was reelected in the 3rd District over Democrats Lauren Mallett-Hays and Michael Kalagias, keeping the seat for District 2 in the House.
