June 1, latest Covid-19 report in Arkansas, number of cases drops
Conway, Arkansas – The latest Covid-19 report issued by Arkansas Department of Health indicates drop in new cases on June 1st.
According to the report, only 1 new death was registered across the state as a result of the virus.
A total of 69 new positive cases were reported.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of positive cases in Arkansas has now reached 341,450.
1,525 people received the vaccine in the past 24h.
Governor Hutchinson released the following statement on today’s COVID-19 numbers:
Today’s report shows another day of lower testing and lower vaccinations due to the Memorial Day Weekend. We have several vaccination clinics around the state this week, and you’ll be eligible to receive an incentive for doing your part.
