More potholes will pop up across the natural state after winter weather

Little Rock, Arkansas — The Arkansas Department of Transportation said potholes will begin to form, as frozen water sits on the roadways and gets down into the cracks.

According to Dave Parker with the Arkansas Department of Transportation, they’re getting pothole reports on highways and interstates from across Arkansas.

Reporting the potholes is the best thing you can do, Parker said.

“If you go to idrivearkansas.com, there’s an actual drop-down menu where you can report a pothole and that really helps us,” Parker said. “I often say, we can’t do it alone. Getting more eyes and ears out there to tell us where the problems help quite a bit, and we try to respond as quickly as possible.”
