Currently, there are 3,169 active cases in the state. 314 people are hospitalized of which 63 are on ventilators.
The Delta variant is more and more present and state and the health officials are again urging people to get vaccinated.

While we saw rising hospitalizations and active cases over the weekend, we also saw one of the better weekends for vaccinations in a number of weeks. The increasing case numbers and hospitalizations can decline but only by more Arkansans getting the COVID vaccine.
