No. 10 Arkansas defeats North Dakota State 76–58

Fayetteville, Arkansas – Brazile, a sophomore Missouri transfer, scored six consecutive points early in the second quarter to help Arkansas take a 16-point lead with 15 minutes remaining.
Switch to Wichita State The only other Arkansas player to score during the stretch was Ricky Council. He scored 22 points, on 9 of 14 shooting, to lead the Razorbacks.
Five players, including Council, joined Arkansas’ roster this offseason via the transfer portal. Six more players are freshmen, including one of the top recruits in the country, Nick Smith Jr., who opted not to play out of caution due to a knee ailment.
With 18 points, Arkansas guard Devo Davis, one of two scholarship players from the Elite Eight squad from the previous season, joined Council and Brazile in scoring in the double digits.
North Dakota State was led by Grant Nelson and Boden Skunberg, who both scored 17 points.
