On National Dog Day, Arkansas Heart Hospital and the Humane Society collaborate on an adoption event

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Heart Hospital and Humane Society of Pulaski County joined together to warm the hearts of animal lovers on Saturday in honor of National Dog Day.
The Humane Society of Pulaski County hosted the special adoption event Paws for the cardiac, and anybody who adopted received a free Keep the Beat cardiac exam from the Arkansas Heart Hospital.
Pets can frequently help their owners feel less stressed and anxious, according to Vickie Wingfield, community relations director for the Arkansas Heart Hospital. Additionally, studies have shown that it might boost one’s level of physical activity and foster camaraderie and unconditional love.
