Pedestrian dies after being hit by two vehicles in Springdale

Springdale, Arkansas – According to the Springdale Police Department, at around 9:48 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, police were dispatched to a collision between a car and a pedestrian at the intersection of Thompson and Southfield Avenue.
The police report states that when they arrived, they saw a dark-clad woman who was unconscious and laying on the road.
Police claim the victim had already passed away when officers started CPR. The inquiry revealed that the woman was struck by a GMC Sierra and a Chevrolet Silverado that were traveling north on Thompson Ave. when she was crossing the street from the Phillips 66 fueling station.
According to police, no charges are currently anticipated against either of the drivers. Sandra Holloway, 42, of Fayetteville has been recognized by the police as the woman.
The Springdale PD reports that this is a current inquiry.
