P!nk fosters dog while on tour in Minnesota after it was rescued in Arkansas
Vilonia, Arkansas – The singer-songwriter P!nk announced on social media that she is fostering a dog who was rescued in Arkansas while she is on tour in Minnesota.
Thousands of people have liked the social media post, which depicts the singer of “Just Give Me A Reason” and the Arkansas puppy, Graham Cracker, developing a new friendship.
Director of marketing for The Bond Between in Minnesota, Maggie Schmitz, claimed that on Thursday, the singer’s team contacted them about fostering the dog.
Schmitz stated, “She looked at our website and fell head over heels in love with Graham Cracker.” “She said that this adorable mixed puppy with a shepherd lab look was love at first sight.”
Schmitz stated that they were taken aback when the endearing link was established.
“We have been dreaming of working together on this, and we know she loves animals,” Schmitz remarked.
Cooperation was essential because Graham Cracker was discovered in the Vilonia, Arkansas, woods prior to being placed in P!nk’s arms. This was discovered after Jenny Bridges, the director of Jak’s Second Chance Rescue Ranch, was called.
Bridges stated, “We found Autumn, a gorgeous mama dog who had just given birth to eleven pups. She was in rough shape.”
According to Bridges, every dog lived and they were able to place some of them in foster homes. However, due to capacity issues, they eventually need assistance and were able to move the remaining pups to Minnesota.
Schmitz remarked, “It feels really great to have someone use their platform to advocate for fostering and rescue.”
Though they’re happy, neither of the women could have predicted that Graham Cracker would become a rock star while working with P!nk.
“We are ecstatic about Graham Cracker,” Schmitz exclaimed. “We are confident that he will have an amazing time on tour.”
Hopefully, they both agree, this will encourage more people to consider adopting and fostering children.
