Police are looking into the incident at Little Rock’s Park Plaza

Little Rock, Arkansas – On Monday night, the Little Rock Police Department was called to 6000 West Markham St. for assistance.
Officers discovered a woman with gunshot wounds when they arrived.
After being taken to a nearby hospital by Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services, she passed away from her wounds.
A statement was issued by Park Plaza in reaction to the shooting.
“We send the victim and their family our sincerest condolences. We are giving law enforcement access to security footage as part of our complete cooperation with their inquiry. Our top goal continues to be making sure that our visitors, staff, and tenants are safe and healthy.
Detectives investigating homicides were notified, and an investigation is already in progress.
