Sanders declares Mountain Home to be the upcoming “Capital for a Day” for Arkansas
Mountain Home, Arkansas – Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas has declared Mountain Home to be the upcoming “Capital for a Day.”
In a press statement, Sanders stated that the town will host the ninth “Capital for a Day” on January 29 and will act as Arkansas’ temporary seat of government on January 31.
After being incorporated in 1888, Mountain Home expanded rapidly as a result of the building of the Bull Shoals and Norfork Dams, which enabled laborers to relocate nearby.
To guarantee that top-notch services are offered to all Arkansans, the press release claims that the “Capital for a Day” program allows outstanding localities around the state to host senior state government representatives in each town for meetings with their local equivalents.
