September’s “Jazz in the Park” lineup is revealed by Little Rock CVB

Little Rock, Arkansas – The September Jazz in the Park lineup has been released by the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Every Wednesday between April and September, there is a free outdoor concert series called Jazz in the Park, which honors the local musicians and the vibrant jazz and R&B scene in Little Rock.
“The autumn Jazz in the Park concerts are one of my favorite things about fall in Little Rock,” LRCVB President & CEO Gina Gemberling said.
“This year’s September lineup features a little something for everyone and is sure to please both newcomers and those who’ve attended the concert series for years.”
Acts scheduled to appear at Jazz in the Park in September include:
Sept. 4: Cameron Ross: Osceola native Cameron Ross kicks off September with his soulful, gospel-infused sound, including songs from his recent second album, “Power.”
Sept. 11: Eclectic Soul Band: This soul and funk band lives up to its name, carried along by a sister duo that strives to create a free-flowing concert atmosphere.
Sept. 18: UAPB Band/M4: Musical Machine of the MidSouth Special Edition: The legendary UA Pine Bluff Band pours on the power, bringing their big, award-winning sound to Jazz in the Park.
Sept. 25: The Rodney Block Collective: Led by Arkansas-born Rodney Block, this quartet is a long-running staple of the central Arkansas jazz and R&B scene, delivering toe-tapping fun and funk.
Dogs and kids are welcome at the free concerts, which start at 6 p.m. in the River Market Pavilions at 400 President Clinton Ave. Coolers are not permitted, but lawn chairs are welcome.
