Stone Hill Ranch hosts music festival and camping to celebrate the eclipse
Mayflower, Arkansas – Campsites, where many have camped out for the eclipse watch parties, offer another option for tourists visiting the Natural State, even though the hotels are packed up with eclipse watchers.
An eclipse music festival was organized on Sunday at the Stone Hill Ranch Event Center in Mayflower, drawing a large number of campers.
Owner of Stone Hill Ranch Rusty Walters stated that honoring this momentous occasion in the Arkansas style is appropriate.
Marybeth Byrd, a country singer from Arkansas, was doing what she did best as she performed at the event.
“I was just like so ready to get back so it feels amazing to be here and to do music again,” Byrd said.
Byrd started her career in music, ranking in the top 12 of American Idol in 2023 and the top 8 of The Voice in 2019.
“I’m like, I can’t imagine how everyone is feeling such a big event coming to our state,” Byrd stated.
Rusty Waters went from being a wedding location on Saturday to an eclipse venue on Sunday, meaning it was a swift turnaround.
“Oh the wedding was over about midnight we were up about 2 or 3 a.m. this morning to clean up and pick up and get prepared for this event, and of course, we have been preparing for this event for three of four months now,” Waters said.
A family-friendly ambiance, delicious cuisine, and live entertainment are all designed to provide an amazing eclipse experience the Natural State way.
“I’m just, I’m excited to be at Stone Hill Ranch, it’s such a beautiful place and be with even more beautiful people so I can’t wait to see how tonight turns out,” Byrd expressed.
