The Arkansas Travelers advanced to the Texas League Championship Series for the second straight season after defeating the Springfield Cardinals
North Little Rock, Arkansas – They advanced to the Texas League Championship Series by defeating the Springfield Cardinals by a score of 6-5 on Friday night.
The Arkansas Travelers emerged victorious.
For the Travs, this is the second consecutive season in which they have defeated the Cardinals and made it to the championship game.
The Amarillo Sod Poodles were victorious in the championship series in 2023, leaving the Travs empty-handed.
There will be a matchup between them and the Midland Rockhounds this year.
In an effort to win the Texas League Championship for the first time since 2008, the team will begin the series in Midland on Sunday.
They will then travel back to North Little Rock for the second game of the series on Tuesday, September 24, and if necessary, game 3 the following day.
