This week, Arkansans won large lottery wins

Little Rock, Arkansas – This week, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center offered residents of the state the chance to claim substantial awards.
Winslow resident Michael Koontz was able to change his “unlucky” lottery ticket to a lucky one when he won $500,000 in the October 26 ASL Play it Again drawing.
Among all the valid entries that players submitted from non-winning scratch-off tickets, his ticket number was chosen at random.
Koontz received a call informing him that he had won, and that was how he found out.
“I was waiting for the punch line and didn’t get too excited because I thought it was a scam,” he said. “After telling my wife about the phone call, she called the lottery to verify the prize and looked up my name on The Club website.
Mr. Koontz stated that he intends to take a nice trip and pay his debts with his newly acquired cash.
A North Little Rock resident who participated in the Natural State Jackpot is now a winner as well.
After purchasing a Quick Pick Natural State Jackpot ticket at a Walmart in Paragould, Connie H. won $120,000.
In the drawing held on October 20th, the winning numbers were 11, 31, 32, 34, and 35.
She revealed that she intended to use the winnings for a trip after matching all five drawn numbers to win the jackpot.
There were numerous additional Arkansans that struck it rich only this past week.
