Two Allentown residents fatally struck by a vehicle, coroner releases names

Allentown, Pennsylvania – Two pedestrians were struck and killed by a vehicle in Allentown, Lehigh County, on Sunday. The victims, identified as Luz Daneza Ruiz-Acosta, 43, and Christopher E. Stocker, 44, both of Allentown, died within hours of the accident, stated the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office on Monday.

The crash took place after 1 a.m. in the 300 block of West Hamilton Street

The fatal crash occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the 300 block of West Hamilton Street, as reported by city police and Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. The specific cause and manner of both deaths are yet to be established, pending an autopsy.

Authorities have not identified the vehicle’s driver, who remained unharmed in the accident.
