Two suspects in the fatal MacArthur Drive shooting are taken into custody by North Little Rock police
North Little Rock, Arkansas – Two suspects in a fatal shooting in November have been taken into custody, according to North Little Rock Police Department officials.
18-year-old Jarquez Butler and 21-year-old Devontaye Hayes have been arrested, according to police, in relation to Giovanni Castillo’s death on November 12.
Police said in a social media post on Friday that Hayes was taken into custody in a Little Rock apartment complex by NLRPD officers and members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
He is being jailed without bond and is accused of aggravated robbery and capital murder.
Additionally, according to police, Butler turned himself in at the North Little Rock Justice Center, where he is being held without release and charged with aggravated robbery and capital murder.
The Pulaski County Regional Detention Center is where Hayes and Butler are being detained.
