Allegheny County, Pennsylvania – On Monday morning, a van struck a woman in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, resulting in her hospitalization. The accident occurred close to Moon Area High School and Robert Morris University, near the intersection of University Boulevard and Patton Drive.
The suspect was taken to hospital for treatment
Following the accident, the driver of the van remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The victim was promptly taken to a hospital in Sewickley for immediate medical attention.

There were visible indicators of the collision on the van, including dents on the hood and a smashed headlight, lending further evidence to the seriousness of the accident.

Moon Township Police cordoned off a section of the roadway as they gathered evidence. The South Hills Area Council of Governments was also present to monitor the investigation.
Several individuals working in the vicinity spoke out about the hazardous nature of the intersection, making note of the high number of accidents in that area.
